It shouldn’t even be up for discussion.  Things change, and if you’re  in a country that’s based on traditions, you need to understand that it is a tradition to change traditions.  Everyone has a right to do whatever they want to do, and just because it’s an option doesn’t mean that you have to embrace it, just don’t be a douchebag to other people who choose it.  I don’t get what’s so hard to understand about that.

I’m agnostic and I’m not going around shoving my (non?)-beliefs down other people’s throats.  I went to Catholic school and they didn’t shove their beliefs down my throat.  Certainly there were discussions, but no one’s throwing me in jail because of what I think.

I don’t even understand why it’s up for discussion with our country.  What happened to separation of state and church?  Why is this even a discussion in our laws?  Make it an option. And if you don’t agree with the choice, THEN DON’T DO IT.
